I just finished the SOPAC scenario that runs from Mar-Feb of 42-43. This was a very intense gaming experience, in large part because I played 360+ turns of a sim that requires a lot of attention.<br/>
<br/>
The scenario was an immense amount of ...

Actually, I had just finished playing the Coral Sea scenario when I jumped into this one. In that game THREE IJN carriers holed-up in Lae AFTER being attacked and reported as hit by land-based bombers from ...

RE: 300 hits (claimed) and still no cigar!

The Zuikaku is holed in up in Lae, and I've slapped it silly with raid after raid from Dauntless' and low level A20 and B26.<br/>

Game .EXE over-riding A/C orders

<r> I am finding that the software is sometimes grabbing my A/C and sending it on mission types that I had denied them in the config screens.<br/>

Example: <br/>

RE: Initial impressions - Coral Sea, vs Allied AI summary

<r> I played this scenario also, in large part because I was familiar with the OOB and Map, having played UV.<br/>
<br/>
Overall, I thought that it was much more manageable than UV's Coral Sea scenario.<br/>

RE: Unplayably slow performance.

<t> Hi Becket,<br/>
<br/>
First, I just got the game Thursday and have only completed the Coral Sea scenario. It took about two hours from start to finish (15 turns). So, something else is going on. I'm not associated with Matrix, BTW, as a playtester or anything, I mean.<br/>
