really?

Admiral Dadman-

Are you serious about the DD's? There have to be some free to provide escort or some such? So basically if there are ONLY capitol ships available to be sent nothing is sent....

That kinda sucks....

keep 'em!

I usually don't send anything back home unless they are 50% or higher so just stick your ships in a size 9 port and keep them in theatre.

The only reason to send ships back (for me) is upgrades or to deny the enemy possible victory points.

the second bug...

<t>Yeah, I agree that the jumping around in the selection list is even worse of a bug than the subtraction problem. It's annoying as hell and really frustrates me when at ship 24 (or anywhere else for that matter) it jumps to heavy cruisers when I'm building a Transport tf! The logic behind the ...

huh...

Oleg-

Thanks for looking. I'm of the opinion that I probably just need to wipe the game and reistall. I'll do that when the new patch comes out.

If no one else gets the ships to disappear than the problem is with my installation of the game.

Vanishing Capitol Ships

<t>To make a long story short, I have several tfs sitting on TRUK. At the end of the turn after a Japanese ground attack, several CVs are deleted from my CV task force and the BB from my Surface Combat tf is deleted.<br/>

I've tried sprinting away from the hex but then the ships are deleted ...

huh...

I guess what's throwing me is that none of the cruisers or destroyers have come back with 40mm Bofors on them. The AA ratings on all of the Aussie ships has been really low after their return from Pearl. On the other hand, the depth charges were upgraded so probably some other guns did too.

Australian ship upgrades....

<r>Does anyone know if the Aussie cruisers and destroyers get upgraded when you send them to Pearl? I've sent them all back and a handful have returned and I really can't tell from the loadout if anything changed. I think maybe the depth charges got upgraded but that's about it...<br/>

planes transferring back...

Quark--I too have seen planes auto transfer back onto a burning wreck.

I had the CVL Shoho in Tulagi with 88 sys keep reloading her planes every turn after I took them off. Finally I put them on another carrier and that did the trick.

supply...

I would be fine with periodic supply. Like maybe 100000 is dropped on Truk/Noumea every two weeks. And maybe 25-50k on Brisbane every 2 weeks as well. And while we're at it, maybe have Wewak as an alternate for the IJN like a reduced TRUK.

Mogami-

I've also seen transports redirect automatically when they are at zero fuel even if I reset their course every pulse.

I think all ships automatically go to HOME when at zero fuel. And I've seen the sub thing happen too.

need a port...

A concern of mine when taking Shortlands was having a BIG port nearby to take back cripples. I maxed out Tulagi and made it the home port for everyone who went to Shortlands.

For air cover I used carriers plus p38s stationed on Lunga.

Hope that helps....
