Giving the US a go in the Long Campaign

<t> I tend to gravitate towards the Germans in every game I play, so when I went to setup a new game using the US I was a bit......confused? about how to put together an effective core force.<br/>
<br/>
The Force Org is a bit different, as the German OOB is pretty intuitive.<br/>

I had P40's within range the entire time my P39 squads (actually closer) to Brisbane while they upped to P38's. There is also a date, was wondering if there was a specific date that the P40's were eligable, or if it was just a ...

RE: P-38 vs Zero

<t> Another quick question: P40E Warhawk ....do they upgrade to P-38's? I had a squad in Townsville resting (japs weren't doing anything) for 3 months. In that time 6 P-39 Squads at various bases upped. The scen 17 OOB states that the P40's go to P-38's. Checking to make sure that is true (same doc ...

Are they never intercepted at all? Could have sworn there was a chance any plane flying into an area that has cap could be shot down.

RE: P-38 vs Zero

Ya this was just a game related question.

Btw does anyone know what is the maximum base for both east/west sides of the map for P39 - P38's and F4F to F4U's?

Trying to control who is upgraded and when.

RE: Possible bug - how to fix?

Ya this would be in 2.5. For some reason, I am getting the "Load Only Troops" as the only option sometimes, so its for both. Don't know exactly what is causing it, and its happening for cargo as well.

RE: Carrier Upgrades

Ah I figured that if it was a bug maybe it would correctly calculate the AA ratings.

As for before the patch, this is my first game in a long time (2003?). Patched with latest when I started back up. Unfortunatley had it happen both on and off map.

Very irky.
&nbsp;
Do you have a technique that will stop them from leaving port before they are fully loaded?

This just started happening in the last 40 turns. Troop convoy's with 50% loaded, fuel TFs with 1/4 loaded and then they steam off to their destinations.
