<t>Unless I am dreadfully wrong, which is entirely plausible, the blizzard rule of 1941 only applies to the Axis units east of Warsaw (p.31 of the Manual). Besides, the units of the Western and Italian Fronts suffer less readiness loss as they are within HQs. Moreover, it is extremely unlikely, if ...

<r>Despite being a newbie, let me venture my opinion.<br/>

Josan, I suppose that the Western Front must have shattered around June 1944. According to this <URL url="http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29457&highlight=Italian+Western+Front"><s>[URL=http://www ...

<t>I have something to add. Incidentally, whenever a Korps retreats, it already sustains a heavy loss of its guns and armor. While I cannot verify it, I would presume that the extent of the loss is a function of leadership and probably readiness. For instance, a certain Zhukov seems to lose less ...

Yes, I have seen the 1944 Scenario. The first turn is already a disincentive to play any further. :eek:

In due course, I shall play my first PBEM game. In the meantime, I shall endeavor to complete my first WIR game since the mid-1980s!:D

Request for Possum 1942 and 1943 Scenarios

<r>I wonder if Possum has any plans to make 1942 and 1943 Scenarios similar to that of 1941. I sincerely hope that he does.<br/>
<br/>
My first game with Possum 6 (at even) is almost over after the first two turns of clear weather in 1942. I have annihilated, either through shatter or outright ...

I have just conducted another test. The air losses are certainly included in the game data, even if they are not saved in the overall combat report. I would presume that the same is true for tanks, guns, and infantry.

But they would still be accounted for in the overall game data.

Maybe, someone is expecting us to complete each turn at one go!;)

<r>I have decided to conduct an experiment to decide when I ought to launch my ’42 Spring Offensive, if any.<br/>

Please bear in mind that due to the lack of time, not to mention patience;), I have limited myself to five tests for the period from 5 Apr to 28 June ‘42.<br/>

Spring/Summer Axis Offensive

When is the best time for a sustained Axis offensive? In other words, which is the earliest month that often enjoys a period of uninterrupted 'Clear' weather?

Thanks!

Size of Airgroups

What is the size of each airgroup in WIR 3.3? In addition, is there any difference between the Germans and the Minor Axis countries, including Finland in this instance, in terms of size?
