deselect a unit with keyboard shortcut ,only rarely but I need to load a saved game to play on as map is useless ......

right so I move an inf unit next to an enemy unit an hit the war button ,the battle screen comes up at the bottom ,BUT the FIRE button doesnt highlight ,an the odds are not there ...

I got to agree hole heartedly with you the maps need to be bigger ,or zoom function

Im playing on a 19" screen an after a while I need a rest /tea break ,lol

I totally agree with you guys on this as I have been swayed by game reviews in the past ....
but I think most of these reviews are playtested by FPS junkie/monkeys ,an they look down their noses at any other type of game.

thanks for the thread here ..........as I have wrote, Im completly new too hex games ........I was a bit concerned about the ctd but I am not that naive to believe that "any" new game is released with out any bugs ,I do think matrix games are on-the-ball about these matters ,an like ...

as a newbie too hex gaming was worrying as I read these ctd /install probs (btw not got the game yet in the UK ....been told its coming on 22aug)
I only hope an pray I dont have the same hassle/nightmare these others guys are having
