Re: Rookie II - Saving MacArthur - against opponent no. 5

3 of 5 here....

The 3/24/45 Yamato/Musashi sortie was not entirely my first effort at Banggi.

Three USMC regiments and and a Arty Bn landed on March 20th. On the 21st, I had KB, with four (all with very good carrier commanders) TF's with about 200 a/c each,7 hexes away in the low South China Sea ...

Re: Rookie II - Saving MacArthur - against opponent no. 4

GDay all,
It is Terry, (forum handle MarkVII), who has taken over as the Japanese and not Matt. Matt was Fred's last opponent, who played Fred's game from August 17,1942 till March 13, 1945. Matt was opponent #4 in Fred's game and I was actually opponent #3 who played from mid-April 1942 till August ...

G'day Mate, I have been looking at this variant. Wondering about your Mersing landing. The Japanese on the afternoon turn for Dec 7, have a floating reserve off Singora and Poulo Condore of four infantry regiments, one recon rgt, edit... "one tank rgt", and several artillery types. What did you land ...

G'day,
I like the addition of the refugee problem to this mod, I am currently exploring the Allied side trying to figure out all the extra units.

However, you should be able to combine them into a larger unit, maybe by nationality. Seems silly to be forced to use a larger transport to evacuate ...

Wow!!!

Today, almost 69 years later, Guam is considered the best ship wreck diving destination in the world. The prize is the Sub tender Jingei, settling at the bottom of Apra Harbor with the bow resting at 100 feet and the stern at 80 ft with only a 18 degree list. Tanikaze tried to beach herself ...

Re: More Variants - The Allies ride again - No xargun please

Is it worth sending a US Army tank battalion or the British 7th Armoured Bde (84 Stuart's) to China early on? It will be a long journey before contact with IJA tanks but?? I don't have enough experience with the Allies so just wondering.

G'day Nomad,

Would you mind sending me the link to Andy Macs variants thread. I've looked and looked and cannot find it. I opened your zip to see the options but would like to see the discussion on that thread ...

I try to check into the AA reports at least once a day and yours is almost always the first one I read.

Was wondering if instead of (A14 .. Add 50 PBY-5 to pool= 2 points), would (A14 .. Add 25 PBY-5 and 25 F4F-4's to pool= 2 points) be ,allowed? And if yes, your balance could be what ever you want(30/20 or 35/15 or what ever). Just a thought.<br/>
