Bulgarian HQ

I take it the Bulgarian HQ can't be refitted? It is down to one and I've 6 points but when I click on Buy HQ it doesn't change. I can only buy arms and trenches.

RE: trenches in forts?

I am using the alternate graphics. I see what you mean on the counter they have listed they are entrenched but on the gray box on the bottom next to supply % it always has trench zero or the fort zero for the fort areas.

trenches in forts?

<t> I noticed that I can't build trenches in a captured fort hex. For example as CP, I can't build a trench in a leige fort 0 hex but can build trenches up to level 2 in other hexs in France/Belgium. Is it supposed to be that way or is it a bug? Also if I try to build a trench there, I lose a trench ...

RE: Raw materials, food and finished goods

So basically as the CP I am going to slowly starve(no food)? I might capture a hex here and there to slow the starvation but I really can't stop it?!?

Raw materials,food and finished goods

<t> New to the game, just a few questions, playing as the Central Powers:<br/>
How does the Raw materials, food, and finished goods transfer work? I've found that Austria generally has more raw materials, so I transfer them to Germany. Neither country has enough food, they are both starving... what ...

As I've posted before, it is a close race between Guns of August and Empires in Arms ever getting published.

RE: Are we there yet?

I remember (In the Empires in Arms forum) about talk of that game finally coming out for the 200 year anniversary for Trafalgar (2005), we are now approaching the 200 year anniversary of Eylau. Just hope we aren't looking at the 100 year anniversary for the "Guns of August" for this game.[8D]

As I've said before...between Guns of August and Empires in Arms, which will get released first? Whichever it is, hopefully it is before 2010.[:D]

RE: When is Matrix going to admit this game is vaporware?

I always enjoy reading this forum (Ok not really), but between Empires in Arms and Guns of August, the forums are quite similiar. Both games have taken ages to come out. Now if only I could take bets as to which one will come out first[:D]

Christmas gift?

With Christmas quickly approaching, is this a game I might have under my tree? Or should I tell Santa [:)] to bring me another game to tide me over until this title comes out in 2006 (hopefully).

RE: October Update

<t> Funny that is how I also plan my purchases. I often find myself wondering should I buy this PC or boardgame? Oftening realizing that the cost of movie for 2 that last 2 hours? vs. number of hours of game play. If it seems like a good investment I purchase the game. Rationalization does wonders ...

drowl [X(] .......looking good. I for one don't care if the game isn't "perfect" on release as long as there are a few patches and the game is "playable" on release.

RE: News From the Beta: Optional Rules

<t> Economic manipulation, cavalry superiority and guard commitment are three optional rules that my group always played with. Glad to see they are in, Thanks for all the recent updates (restoring my faith in this game coming out[:D])<br/>

<br/>
Question: Will the optional rule of allowing ...
