RE: American Civil War using GGWAW Engine

Well, now ... while I have no intention whatsoever of imbibing any WW2 "lite beer" (GGAWaW) since HOI2 is out in a matter of weeks, I am most definitely weak and vulnerable towards the notion of an ACW "lite beer". So, Joel & Gary ... BREW ON! [:D]

RE: I just can't get into this game.

Everyone is correct here, the UI needs an overhaul. But that's a FANTASY.

REALITY is we're stuck with it as is.

And the sad, sick truth is that we will keep playing and keep loving it. FOR WE ARE GROGNARDS!!!! [:D][8D]

Better for both sides in PBEM if China zones given to AI

Let me suggest that the PBEM game is MUCH more entertaining if both players agree to turn the two mainland China zones over to the AI. AFter all, do you honestly want such a huge game decided by Chiang Kai-Shek? Be serious.

RE: Should I abandon Singapore?

If you're PBEM, you're going to lose a considerable number of ships to Jap LBA - i.e., if your opponent is halfway competent. I would suggest that, overall, it's better to bleed him a little by resisting. It's very hard for him to fight a war of attrition in the long run.
