Re: Point blank fire discipline

For me, it works in the Lessons of War scenario.

My Marder APCs are set to hide and still fire their Milan missiles. If the infantry disembarks 1 hex earlier, do the APC hide at the disembarkation location or do they follow the infantry to the end point?

RE: new player help

First I read the manual. Then I am looking for videos on Youtube. Today I watched two good ones from Strategy Gaming Dojo. There are many more.

RE: New build 1.06.14 ready for beta

Yes, they always were too late to stop the bombing raid. Today, I sent the Jg´s to patrol and after the bombers arrived the coast, I switched LF Reich and 3 to computer control. Then the patrols attacked at once.

RE: New build 1.06.14 ready for beta

<t> I started a new 43 campaign on the German side. Because I only wanted to control Luftflotte Reich, I have set Luftflotte 2 and 3 to computer control to see, what the AI is doing. The defenders are all starting too late to intercept and are attacking the returning bombers. Changing the alert ...

RE: Scenario: Eyes, Ears and Teeth

<t> Hi WildCatNL,<br/>
<br/>
thanks for the answer. I´m still learning the game mechanics. I joined the BGS in 1977 and were stationed for 20 years in the BGS Kaserne in Oerlenbach near Bad Kissingen (2./11th Cav).<br/>
For Southern Storm at that time, there were BGS Kasernen in Coburg, Bayreuth ...

RE: Scenario: Eyes, Ears and Teeth

<t> A hint for the maps: In the Meiningen - Bad Neustadt aerea, the Highway A71 didn´t exist in the 1980´s. It was build about 12 years later and opened in 2005. The Mainroad to the border was the B19 which went from Bad Kissingen to Bad Neustadt, Heustreu, Unsleben, Mittelstreu, Oberstreu ...

RE: Scenario: Eyes, Ears and Teeth

I found Wollbach and Bad Neustadt. I am looking for the Hammelburg map in that scenario. It´s described as the Hammelburg aerea in the scen. briefing.

Scenario: Eyes, Ears and Teeth

<r> I bought Flashpoint Germany and Germany Reforged in the sale a few days ago. I know the border aerea of Mellrichstadt and Fladungen well, because I were in the BGS (German Borderguards) in the 1980´s. We were patroling this border aerea very often and sometimes together with patrols from the 2 ...

In the 70s, we listened to this album a lot. Especially the drum solo.

RE: Please help me make a descision; WitE or Command Ops?

<t> I would buy Command Ops. I bought DC:Case Blue and CtGW a few months ago. I played a few hours and then I lost interest. It´s now too boring and no fun for me to move dozens of counters over a hex map. A few years ago I liked this type of games. The only games I play often are the Command Ops ...
