RE: Extended 'pauses' in the air execution phase

<t> Helpless, that is correct. I set the details to none to see if that was what was causing it during my initial sets of tests.<br/>
<br/>
The key focus isn't simply the number of planes only. It is a combination of the number of planes and location of attack. For example, if I play the axis side ...

RE: Extended 'pauses' in the air execution phase

<t> I am getting the same problem. 1943 Grand campaign. I am noticing a particular problem when the following occurs:<br/>

Question about fuel supply

<t> I have noticed in UV when a fleet comes into base, it automatically refuels it. Well what if you don't want it to automatically refuel, ie, I have only 5000 fuel on Lunga and I don't want my stupid transports with their long endurance eating up all my fuel, only to leave my carriers with no fuel ...

RE: ALL 99 EXP SQUADRON????

I was under the impression that through the withdraw option, I would be able to place those pilots into the pilot pool, where they would do some good by being reassigned to other squadrons. Is this true?

RE: Countering the Zero Wall

<t> yea its kinda scary right now this aircraft system we have currently... Hell you can probably put a guy diggin foxholes in the jungle whose never even got on a plane, tell him to get on a f4u, and he'll shoot down every single japanese plane in the air even if they are veterans of numerous ...

RE: Countering the Zero Wall

<t> This to me just shows that the fact that the pilot factor is not being factored in as much as it should. Hell, you can get a group equipped with f4u corsairs with pilots with 30 experience, and put them up against zeros of 99exp and 99 morale, and I bet you get the same results...... A total ...

RE: political points?

<t> This kinda gets back to my damage post I made. This would mean that I would not even want to send any of my ships out to sea, for I know that if it takes damage ( of which I am sure it will just from sailing a few hexes). This would be a horrible situation. You can't even risk losing anything ...

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>Your system works perfect for battle damage, but you have to implement a general wear of the ship that leads to a lowered speed. E.g. plants and alike on the outside of the hulls, general engine wear reducing the max. power<e>
</e></QUOTE>

System damage of Ships

<t> Currently, we have 3 categories of damage for ships which I find extremely unrealistic: System, flotation, and fire. When you have this, and even if you take a small bomb hit which would not have affected the speed of a ship at all, your system damage would go up resulting in the loss of speed ...
