RE: question from a new member

<t> Thank you for your reply.<br/>
<br/>
I think i am going to wait for the new release. Regarding my idea of friendly fog of war, i believe that it gives a totally different "command feeling" and i will be very happy to see it incorporated in military games. It is true though that it needs ...

RE: COORD FEATURE CALL TO ARMS...

I assume that the time delay for a coordinated attack by two subunits is going to be more than the time delay for the execution of two uncoordinated attacks by the same elements.

Am i right?

RE: Great game, but what about the Eastern Front?

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Our game engine is evolving from one title to the next. With each new one we add features and enhance capabilities. Our aim is to develop it to the point where it can handle all WW2 battles. It's not quite there yet. COTA will add in a realistic resupply system and mixed ...

question about unit facing and combat resolution

<t> My question is if a unit's facing affects combat of fire resolution.<br/>
<br/>
For example, if a unit receives fire from its flank or rear, will this have a different effect in casualties or cohesion, compared to receiving fire from its front?<br/>
Thank you.<br/>

It's a strict 300 x 300. So at the most your looking at would be around 432m on the diagonal. Few companies are bigger than 175 personnel. So in general you can have two companies in the same loc without any movement impediment.
