Re: Hierarchy Module Document

I've been stuck on this problem for a while: I found that the last version I posted couldn't read most older files. (Shown as bug #13 below). I've now got this fixed so that it can. Now I can finally get back to the legacy bugs.

Moral: Making scenario files backwards compatible is a real ...

Re: Sub movie critique

I don't see K19 or The Hunt for Red October. Those are two of my favorites. I remember reading The Hunt For Red October while on patrol in the 80s. Early Tom Clancy books were so good. Red Storm Rising and The Sum of All Fears were also good books.

Re: Hierarchy Module Document

I have the installation zip ready. It's 157MB, so we will need a public FTP site.

When you get the FTP site, will you be posting is here or in the above 'topics' section?

I don't have any site yet, so no way to know for sure. But I expect there will be instuctions on this forum on how ...

I will now get to work on the Beta Test stuff. That means getting the files all together, creating documentation, and checking with Erik. Soon. :D :D :D

Re: questions/editor

I can't get the editor to run on my new machine. It keeps saying it can't run on a 64 bit machine without some updates.
Is there any editor that runs on a 64 bit machine or any fix for this?

Second, the editor runs on my old 32 bit machine, but any changes are not reflected when I add the changed ...

Chinese surrender

I have searched and searched, but I can't seem to find what it takes for China to surrender. What does the Japanese player have to accomplish in order for the China to surrender?

It should be the .40 posted in this forum. I heard they are working on another, but I don't know all that much about that patch.

Let's hope we don't have zombie units spawning throughout China. Or air units disappearing. Or another 500 database fixes.

Re: About the possibility of open Source code

A small announcement: The feature coding on the new update is finished. Still plenty of other things to get done, so still no launch date can be estimated, though.

Took 65 months to get to here!

I am delighted to learn from Curtis Lemay that the update features for The Operational Art of ...
