<r> Hello,<br/>

<QUOTE><s>
</s>I suspect the static units are there to stop players doing unhistorical things like attacking all along the front. <e>
</e></QUOTE>
<br/>
Not sure of why the designers placed them in static but in reality, by 1942 the german truckpark had been ...

Great game but I need help

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
I ordered the game immediately upon discovery and am as happy as a clam!<br/>
<br/>
One question so far... I am trying out my third game(the first two being one turn mess arounds from both POV). Anywho... I noticed after turn one(as the Germans against Soviet AI in the '41 ...

RE: 1941 and Soviets

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
It has been awhile since I have seen the show but it may have been a Uboat 'sold' to the IJN. <br/>
<br/>
On a side note the 'Grant' Tank(actually a 'Priest' with wooden top, gun and turret mockup) is still around(with a white pink and yellow interior from the 'paint shop ...

Siberian and Shandong Situations

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
I haven't been around the WPO forums for awhile, but I was wondering if anyone has ever addressed the situation of Siberia or Shandong in 1922.<br/>
<br/>
Siberia had been largely taken over by the Japanese by 1920. The Far Eastern Republic was set up by the Soviets and was ...

RE: Squad Weapons

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
I haven't been around this forum in some time but on dropping by I felt I should make some comments.<br/>
<br/>
The main problem of WPO is that it was a mod of WITP with major changes to the Warships and aircraft, little if any thought was placed on land units. The ratings ...

RE: Heretical idea???

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
Oil was not the only reason for the 'strike south'. DEI, Malaya and Burma had a great deal of other resources Japan needed for her war industries. <br/>
<br/>
While I agree that oil fields take a long time to exploite, I believe that if the money, efforts and research that ...

RE: Heretical idea???

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
Since you are looking for a challenge against the Japanese AI, I would highly recommend giving it a few more crutches. The AI has major issues with supplying its units well, and it's convoy system sucks. Fixing the Pilot issue will help a great deal, but I would recommend ...

RE: RHS- IJA 10th Infantry Division

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
Niehorster does list the 10th Div under The triangular Division section.<br/>
<br/>
Another problem I found is the 31st Inf Div. This is in the game (slot 1430) but according to a few sources it was not created until March 22, 1943( in Bangkok).<br/>
<br/>
Thanks for ...

Armed Merchantmen

<t> Hello,<br/>
Something I have been wondering about for awhile, when did the major powers arm their merchant fleets?<br/>
I can understand that the UK and Commonwealth would have armed there APs and AKs or at least most of them (ships going between Australia and the US should not have needed it ...

RHS- IJA 10th Infantry Division

<t> Hello,<br/>
I have been searching for the 10th Inf Div. Was it broken into smaller units(Brigades,Etc)?<br/>
It's slot is being used by 10th Mtn Gun Rgt.(#1295). This is specifically about RAO but I believe it is missing from EOS and the others as well.<br/>
My Research suggests it served in ...

<t> Hello again,<br/>

What I mean is that if the japanese player wanted to order his aircraft to attack Soviet targets he then inputs the orders but the computer will not execute the attacks during the turn resolution. As far as I can tell it will allow you to order japanese aircraft to ...

RE: Soviet Experts Appeal

<t> Hello Cid,<br/>
Although I am not an 'expert' on the far east front, I do know the 'Eastern Front" quite well. <br/>

While the infantry forces on the Far Eastern Fronts were considered to be 'elite' troops, many if not most of these 'elite' troops had been sent west by September 1941 ...

RE: RHSEOS and Russia

<t> I have had this problem as well in playing head to head games with both EOS and RAO. Soviet air was allowed to attack but Japanese was not. Japan may bombard with ships and attack with ground troops but will not use aircraft against Russia. I was able to get around this by resaving scenario file ...

Hit around 50 times in RJW(1904-5).<br/>

Had the rear magazine blow up causing her to sink(not sure about the extent of damage)(1905)<br/>

Refloated and refit, then to run aground(1921).<br/>

Keep in mind that a school does not benefit from a University. In my game I was building lots of schools in a University province, then I noticed that it said "+1 to all research - except Schools". Ooops[:D]

RE: Going a little Crazy

<t> I just tried this out last night... to reinforce the peninsula(ie the Level3 Fort with one garrison), you can walk them through the ANV(assuming that they will let you[:D]) or move them by ship. To move units between Armies and division, forts and such, I always right click on the province. This ...

The movement arrow was yellow (not blue-green, black, or red; by the way what do the colors mean exactly? I take that the blue means 100% to move, yellow ...
