Feel of AJE/BOR

<r> Hi<br/>
<br/>
I was thinking of getting these games - or one of them (any recommendations which?)<br/>
<br/>
Being a fairly keen Roman historian, my curiosity was how much do they <I><s></s>feel<e></e></I> like an ancient world, rather than another version of the AGEOD engine slotted ...

RE: Midway

<r> Interesting, personally I'm on the side of 'don't really care the game isn't designed to replicate these intricacies just accept it' but interesting nonetheless.<br/>
<br/>
One thing I'd consider with the focus on the idea of Midway as a fourth carrier is - was this Nimitz's opinion based on ...

Widescreen settings

<t> Hi all,<br/>
<br/>
Just got a 24' Widescreen and have managed to get AE 1920x1080 running fine - however for me it's a touch too small.<br/>
<br/>
I have tried alternate lower res widescreen settings (eg. 160x1050 and others )but none seem to work, I think it is defaulting to standard ...

Frustrating dilemma

<t> Hi all,<br/>
<br/>
Let me explain ... playing a slightly tweaked full campaign having boosted the AI allies with some extra stock of planes/squads/ships and some extra supplies etc and am at end feb as the Japanese. About to take Bataan, queing up to jump in and attack Singapore.<br/>

RE: Respawn

Thanks - To be honest as I'm looking to tweak a game to give the AI more stuff the respawn probably wouldn't come into it much - doubt the game would last long enough for it to take effect!

Respawn

<t> Hi ,<br/>
<br/>
Seems all I ever do is ask questions on here [:)]<br/>
<br/>
Was wondering what the respawn option actually does and can it be set for one side or the other in a scenario?<br/>
<br/>
Also can the game start objectives/planning for ground units be edited? Can't seem to find ...

New game vs AI - which side?

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
I'm looking to start a new game vs the AI (with some boosts to it in terms of fuel/supply etc) as I don't have time for a PBEM yet. Am I correct in thinking that the AI will probably make a better job as Japan? My thinking being it is on the attack at the start and then ...

Beginner editing help

<t> Hi all,<br/>
<br/>
Coming back to the game after a while, want to make a few changes to bost the Ai and have got good advice here before. Have worked out how to amend daily supply/fuel etc in locations using the editor, but where/how do you change starting amounts of HI points, squads all that ...

RE: AI little to determined?

<t> Have seen a simlar issue with Akyab, I managed to retreat a lot of the Rangoon leftovers there and reinforced it to around 40k men in total, AI Japanese has landed and moved around 100k troops there but has lost shedloads of ships as I parked the British carriers off shore and bombed the TFs.<br ...

RE: Boosting the AI

<t> Meant to reply sooner and say thanks [:)]<br/>
<br/>
However if I don't want to simply boost the amount of stuff the AI gets and let it use the normal OOB are there are changes anyone could recommend to certain bases etc?<br/>

Eg. add daily fuel/supply to certain places like Darwin for ...

Boosting the AI

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>

Was thinking along the lines of adding ...
