Hopefully someone can help. Was out of town over night and came back to computer being off. When I restarted it and tried to play WIP-AE it I now get the following error message "Error: Can't Set Screen Mode". Any ideas as to what went wrong and how to fix it? Any help would be very greatly ...

I think you are looking for "Out of Dark" by David Weber. It's his latest and the plot sounds pretty similar to what you are asking about.

You are right. UXB was a great series. The only book I know about and can recommend is Danger Uxb by M J Jappy. Powell's has a copy on sale for around $11.00 that I saw today at their Burnside store. (I noticed you are from Oregon too). Also available on-line from Powells.

I note that no one has answered the question posed in this thread. When do French, Indian or Commonwealth pilots get drawen out of the pools? Hopefully, there is an answer and this is not a bug or a poorly or non-implemeted design feature.

My second farovorite, after the Big E, would have to be Yorktown (CV-5).

That is the same guy as he ended the war in the light cruiser sunk during the Yamato sortie. I would highly recommend the book as it is an informative and quick read.
