<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>I've been having the same problem for a long time. I'm curious, <br/>

It doesn't matter if I wait 5-10 seconds before clicking "save" or not. Any other ideas?

RE: CTD with 1.80

<t> Well I hadn't thought of trying that... I know I don't leave the cursor sitting over the exit button, but I probably am clicking it fairly soon after it says that the game has saved. But if that were the cause, wouldn't the CTD happen all the time? Or at least on a less regular basis?<br/>

RE: CTD with 1.80

I'm afraid it is indeed about half the time, almost like clockwork. If it doesn't crash *this* time, it will definitely crash next time. Good to know I'm not alone, though.

Cheers

CTD with 1.80

<t> Clean install, patched to 1.80 (*not* 1.801), no mods, started a new game. At first, no problems. Game is now on 8/01/42 and crashes to desktop literally every other time I save it. At least 50% of the time. The CTD is *always* when I make a save prior to going to combat phase. This is ...

Well, I guess that's not too hard to live with. Just have to change the home port when I give orders. Thanks![:)]

Insubordination: TF assigned to patrol still retires

<t> I don't recall this happening before 1.80, but since installing that patch I've noticed that some TFs will retire even if I tell them to patrol. For instance, I sent a "transport" convoy from Anchorage to Dutch Harbor. I want them to ferry an RCT to D.H., unload it, then wait there because I'm ...

Dig in and defend the Bonins rather than retake Marcus. I think you'll get more mileage out of letting him have Marcus than he'll get out of taking it.
