Patch/Updates v1.5

I just fired up the game again! it's been a while, and I have v1.5 - Is there an incremental or comprehensive patch to get me to v1.8x ? Is it even necessary? I don't use the editor, but wanted to be sure I had the latest updates and enhancements!

Thanks!

Version Updates

<t> I'm returning to the game after a couple years (playing other quality matrix games!) and I have version 1.50. <br/>
In order to update to the 1.806 version, do I need to do an incremental update? or can I update directly with the new patch/version download? <br/>
<br/>
thanks for your help ...

Minor Graphics Glitch

<t> The small animations (flags, fires, etc) and some of the button graphics have square "ghost" borders around them. For example, a round command button doesn't show on it's own, you can see the graphics file square border around it. Ship graphics with flags flying and decks burning also have this ...

RE: late war strategy

<t> since I have all my CV's intact and deployed, I'm thinking of using long-range bombers from Okinawa (next on the invasion list) and Bonin to take out Japan's airfields... then move in the carriers to bomb industry...<br/>
<br/>
whattaya think?<br/>

and I'm also taking ports on Borneo ...

RE: late war strategy

then basically invade the crucial bases/ports to gain the most points and like you say, bomb everything!
I'm already hitting Hong Kong & Singapore... so maybe just keep mixing up the bombing assignments?

late war strategy

<t> <br/>
just asking our panel of experts... <br/>
I'm finishing up my first full campaign... it's january '44 and I've got long range bombers on Bonin ready to hit Tokyo<br/>
<br/>
considering that the entire Japanese navy is now gone, their bombers are scarce and most of their LCUs are in ...

Fuel Movement... help!

<t> probably in the manual, but I couldn't locate it...<br/>
<br/>
I'm assuming it's an automatic transfer, but how can I get fuel to an inland airbase???<br/>
<br/>
Playing allied side... have Manilla, Legaspi, etc... everything's loaded with fuel and supply, and I've moved a ton of a/c to ...

RE: Anyone tried to take Truk?

<t> I was lucky enough to take and hold Rabaul & Kav by the end of 1942 (full campaign) and after almost a year and a half of aerial pummelling and a complete cutoff from the empire (anything that tries to get close get's eliminated) I tried to land a bunch of troops there... bad idea. just the ...
