RE: Anniversary Coupons

Got an anniversary coupon email (16 years). But when following the link and logging in I get this: "No anniversary coupons were granted to this user." Oh well.

B-17F upgrade problem

In the 1943 campaign on turn 2 I can't upgrade any of my B-17F units to the B-17G even though there are plenty in the pool. The B-17G is not showing up in the list as an upgrade choice (B-24s are available).

RE: Worth it?

This game is like the old one with a better graphic (I prefer the old map but of course it's me) and some improvements on combat and few other things I guess.
In fact the game mechanics are the same.

The old map was awesome.

The Ageod dilemma

<t> Ageod is well known for their post release support of their games. So I always am questioning when to start playing them. Do I immediately start a game or do I wait for a few patches? A game of this complexity will always have bugs, so patching is given. Even early in the patching cycle, Ageod ...

RE: Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations review by Out of Eight

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Good video to show the actual game as it is played, but I think he should have started off small to show the concepts rather than jumping into a huge scenario and filling up the screen. Also, not being catty, but to me this is a rather amateurish review; there should have ...

Comparison to Kerbal

Is the spacecraft configuration and launching similar to Kerbal Space Program or is this game's mechanics entirely different?

RE: Why do torps ALWAYS SINK DD class ships ?

<t> I recall reading years ago though I can't recall the source material, that DDs were very difficult to sink with air dropped torpedos. The problem was the torps usually ran too deep to contact the hull and passed under the vessel. Air dropped torpedos had their running depth set before take off ...

OOB Question

<t> Do campaign scenarios share the same OOB database. In other words does the 12/7/41 and the 12/8/41 scenario share the same OOB files? If not is one scenario likely to be more up to date/accurate than the others? Especially if each campaign scenario's OOB is maintained separately then fixes would ...

You must not have been around when WitP AE made it's arrival.

I don't recall it having so many people logged in for the release.

Realistically I'd say end of the business day is a more likely time for the release, which is about 2 1/2 hrs away. I think Matrix is on Eastern time.
