RE: You Know What Would Be Nice?

In the time it would take someone to write up a guide, you'd already have finished reading the manual and be well in to your first game. :) However, I have no doubt guides will be forthcoming in the near future.

RE: The problem with research..

<t> I think the research system and costs are fine. What I think is skewed is the dramatic effect a single point of unit value has when increased. IMO, the effects of the increased unit values should be lowered somewhat. In a WWII game, no units should be essentially invulnerable to the enemy. Look ...

However, I will admit I was wrong in it not being needed period. Like was mentioned above, I guess if you're playing with easy rules and a headset for chat it could be pretty fun. So, I stand corrected in that respect.

I think those crying about wanting TCP/IP or LAN play haven't actually spent much time with the game. There are many other things more important than adding a feature only 5 people whiny people here "might" use. <e>[/quote]</e></QUOTE>

I cast my vote in wishing there was TCP/IP support. My regular MP gaming group, while not posting here, feels the same. Please keep the door open for possible TCP/IP support down the road.

RE: DVD Cover for the DD release

<r> The retail version comes in a box, not a DVD case. I doubt Matrix is going to pony up the artwork to fit a DVD case because (and I am NOT accusing either of you) it would make it that much easier to "sell" as if it were an authentic copy. The box artwork would also be under a copyright.<br ...
