Naval bombardement of Vladivostok: 489 casualties, 12 guns and 1 vehicle destroyed
No air raids today, due to the bad weather. [:@] Now the weather is not my allied. Every day that I cannot bomb Vladi or Uglahamensk they can repair the base.
My troops at Petropavlovsk cannot meet their objective. I have to send another division there to close the match. [:@][:@]

Yesterday evening I surrpised Adi on this AAR. [:(]
I told me that I clicked by mistake on my AAR instead of the one of Hawker, that was just the line above (that's true).
I really don't know what to think. It's not the problem that Adi read the AAR. The problem is that I (as you all) spent a lot of time to plan, move, and plan again for the future operation. But if the opponent read your plan, where is the fun?
I cannot post my future plan? [:o]
Anyway, by now, here is the new Rep.

8. Hvy FA Rgt
15. Mortar Bn
In total I will land 113012 men, 1166 guns and 587 AFV, with 1761 AP
This will be a great operation. I'm not happy at all to use the experienced troops to land and assault Vladivostok, but the base worth 1200 points and has a lot of industry sites.
Operation Sho-1,2 and 3, will be conducted by 326021 men, 3620 guns and 944 AFV.
The landing will be protected by 5 BB (Yamato just entered in service), 3 CA, 1 CL and numerous DD, MSW and PC.
In additiod, 1. Carrier Division (Akagi, Junyo, Hiyo and Ryujo), will protect the area.
BANZAI!

Tomorrow the Operation Sho-1 will take place.
From Mutanchiang the following units will move towards Uglahamensk:
10. Inf Div
20. Inf Div
25. Inf Div
3. Ind Inf Bde
5. Eng Rgt
Tone Hvy Gun Rgt
8. Hvy Gun Rgt
A total of 90705 men, 1012 guns and 21 AFV (1756 AP) will attack Uglahamens were, after weeks of air raids, recon said that are present 8'400 men, 53 guns and 312 AFV.
My hope is that when soviet commander will see my troops moving from north, they will transfer some troops from Vladivostok to help the defender of Uglahamensk.
This is very important, because in Vladivostok recon said there are 102460 men, 1131 guns and 21 AFV.
Later, when I'll see what the soviets will do, Operation Sho-2 will start.
Attack to Vladivostok, departing from hex 62,33 (N of Hungnam).
My force there are not yet ready, the 37. Inf Div is marching S.
When the unit will be in position this will be my force for Operation Sho-2:
3. Army (LtGen B. Hamano)
9. Inf Div
19. Inf Div
29. Inf Div
37. Inf Div
68. Inf Div
71. Inf Div
11. Tank Rgt
23. Tank Rgt
Botanko Hvy Gun Rgt
A total of 122304 men, 1442 guns and 336 AFV with 2306 AP.
In addition, Operation Sho-3 will start, with a great landing force, departing from Amami Is. This force will include:
HQ 5. Army (LtGen S. Itagaki)
16. Inf Div
48. Inf Div
56. Inf Div
65. Inf Bde
4. Tank Rgt
7. Tank Rgt

BURMA
I tried to stop the allied bombers over Mandalay, with some fighters, without success.
I think I'll evacuate the airgroup today.

Today I attacked again Uglahamensk, and I destroyed 18 AVG's P-40B. [:D]

Only just read this post
personally i would have immediately quit the game.
just my opinion -but there has to be total trust when doing dual AARs -and even reading one post can destroy every plan you have made.
Yhe only alternative I see is to demand immediate access to his AARs -at the time of your choosing (ie as he plans his offensives) as a balance to what he has seen of yours
Just my opinion.

The problem is that he has not AAR.
I know. I had also the idea to quit. But we are end of may '42. A lot of time spend on this game. I want to trust him.

I bombed Iman today. No allied aircraft found there, but the airport has been hit hardly anyway.
Planes taking off from Changkufeng attacked 59. Soviet Inf Div, moved away from Vladivostok to halt my troops coming down from Mutanchiang.
Now the troops pulled out from Vladivostok are 37'000 (4 LCU), and the garrison there downed to 71'000. Good. Tomorrow I'll launch an attack accross the river. I don't know if I will meet success. The important things is that Adi continues to move troops from Vladivostok.
My troops at the korean border are very nervous and waiting to go in action.
You can look, at the map, the situation.

The situation is becoming very dangerous. 125 bombers attacked Mandaly today, causing a lot of damages and inflicting 436 casualties.

Bad weather forced my bombers to stay on the ground. One day to rest.
Not much to say. It was really a quiet day.
