During Daylight hours air raids abound. In Malaya Sally's are sent against Alor Star and Geroge Town to try and reduce the anti-shipping sorties that have appeared daily over Singora and Kota Bharu. Results have left the 3rd Air Division HQ wanting.
Today brought the most successful raid against target in the PI since the opening attack on Clark. 5 P-40s were confirmed killed over Manila and several more damaged in the air and on the ground.
