Admiral Yamaguchi was seriously considering to reduce sake-rations for flying carrier personnel when they reported that Allied ships were towing Dewey Dry Dock SE of Ph.I...[8D] We cannot have that, can we ? [:D][:D]

Haiku for that:

Some poor deer collides.
Devious lotus stares,
The sea after the storm.

AR dewey dry dock ? .. CHS keeps popping up suprises.

How can you sink a dry dock ? let alone tow one ? bizarre. although i'm sure its historically accurate.

EDIT 3-1 points as allies , isnt that an auto victory come jan42 ?[:D]
sorry for the spelling . English is my main language , I just can't type . and i'm too lazy to edit :)

Well..it was intended as static with speed of 0..but it can be moved since WitP allows all ships 1 hex move per 12 hrs. Same was with "CA Utah" that was included in earlier releases in PH.

I have to hammer hard both Singapore and Clark etc. before I capture them. Main effect is to cause damage and eat up defender's supplies. A/C kills are bonus.

Aztez did get his Chinese to coast..more he has there, merrier for me later...[:D]

I think those P-40Es didn't fly because of the service and runway damage...[:D]

Don't be too sure about the China front just yet! [:'(]

As for the supplies in Clark and Singapore... well the situation is classified ofcourse! [:-]

...but I'am going to be a good guy so I can reveal that those supply levels are between 1- 100 000! [:D] Take your pick.

Ouch, then it was CAP from Manila. Sucks, but planes "leaking" CAP to next base are in serious disadvantage against enemy. Go figure, cursed that myself against AI many times.

Been there done that too. [:D] Either those P40E's flew from Manila or they came from space station above Clark... go figure.

That is a minor setback nothing too serious though. [;)] Things are moving ahead as planned.

Aztez's PT boats did make some damage, but I think loss of HK more than compensates that ! [8D]

The fall of Hong Kong was unfortunate event. I had actually hoped that it would have lasted a week more or so.

Good news is that my Submarines are hitting some targets and hopefully will continue to do so.

There are a lot of plans happening behind the curtain.

The CAP leak at Philippines was most unfortunate too. [8|]

Here is the screenshot from Allied TOP aces so far. As you can see the CHS air combat "engine" is somewhat diffrent than in stock. (or at least in CHS Scenario 160)

No wonder, as AVG's anti-zero bonus does not apply in CHS.

I had assumed that [;)].. how does nik mod work with CHS chaps ? i mean in a game way not an installation one [;)].

I really dont know v much about CHS at all i'm sorry to admit and time does not permit me playing vs the AI at present to try it out ..

AVG is not actually been in a battle yet! [:D] That kind of explains why there are none of those boys among the aces.

Yeah, there should not be anti-zero bonus for AVG nor is there a zero bonus for the Japanese in CHS 160 scenario.

It is very diffrent air to air model that I'am used to. I don't know whether you can call CHS experiment a NIKmod but it has an similar type of aircombat modifications. This is one of the things are most dazzled at the moment. I need to be very careful with my naval assets! [;)]

This is actually Scen 160, Andy B. thing with "Nikuesque" thing but with experimental A2A mod. Carriers can still get away with most things, just that A2A is not as bloody and flak is deadly, just not as deadly as in NikMod.

When I actually get into *Burma* I may see AVG to gather kills...[:D] BTW, one reason Aztez is seeing lots of lost P-40Es might be that he's facing the *most* experienced IJNAF A6M2s..a la Saburo Sakai unit etc.

People may not see very..hmm..outrageus..things in this war. We agreed to play reasonably historically. Thus I didn't invide SF during turn 1 !! [:D] Have to wait till January 1942 !!
