Those Chinese were warmly welcomed in Tatung...[:D] I know Aztez have both British & Dutch minelayers. IIRC, he'll also get later some nasties, like minelayer Manxman which is 40+ knots ship. [X(] Was used in supplying Malta in Operation Pedestal etc. too.

Some of the usual cock-ups in Philippines, but IJA/IJN advance continues steadily.

Unlucky PG Moth...run straight into my heavt surface combat TF. One of those rare mid-ocean intercepts that spice up the game ! [8D] Had to sort out some of the movement orders towards Clark Field, had some units arriving in total "cluster-f*ck" and will have Aztez to kick them back for tunr or 2..[:'(]

Here are aircraft losses up to 21st of December 1941.

A lot of those P40E losses were due to the leaking CAP at Philippines. [8|]

I would love to post some strategic maps now but those would reveal too much intelligence to Sardaukar. That is something I don't want to do.

Sardaukar is making push towards central China from Canton. Well, that is acceptable and counter measures are in place! [;)]

In Philippines his first forces arrived at Clark Field and where swiftly repulsed! Those units were 4th and 7th Tank regiments! [:D]

In Malaya he is making steady progress towards Singapore.

I have also gathered some intresting intel about his plans but naturally these things wohn't be discussed now.

Forze Z met the mini-KB south of Philippines...wonder where they were heading to. Probbaly either to Davao or Palau. I had some Surface Combat units ready for that, so it is almost pity both PoW and Repulse got torpedo hits...[:'(]

I think WitP has definitely the worst ground movement and combat system ever invented in operational/strategic level wargame...and I have played few..[:@] Units showing to move 75 km of 60 km distance... etc.[8|] Totally crappy treatment of Zones of Control helps a lot to ruin a good game too. For example units can pass thru enemy hex if hex behind it is "neutral" (doesn't show A, J or A/J when using "w"-key)..for example. Need I say more...

Well, it's same for both sides, but is very annoying.

Yeah. Force Z was discovered and I can say that BC Repulse was sunk. Oh well, that is acceptable. My weather forecast promised a bad weather so I did an gamble. It could have paid off but now.

I think we both have already had an chance to enjoy the superior ground movement models of the game! [:D][:D] As you said it affects both sides.

I will start working on the turn and will get to you this afternoon.

It's those very long-range IJN search planes, hard to hide from. Mavis has very long range and I'm upgrading lot of ship-borne float planes to range 8 Jakes. Those can be a real asset, since longest range Allied float plane is range 5...Walrus and Kingfisher.
