Hmpf, it was unfortunate events with Force Z. They actually tried to ambush your shipping at Palau. But considering these developments everything ended up pretty much histrorical! [:D]

You got your ass kicked again at Clark Field! [;)] ... and Dutch Airforce got BB Kongo! Nice! [:D]

I will run the combat replay now. My GF Unit insist that I need to go store and buy some groceries so you get the turn this evening! [:)]

I think Aztez should have tried to put up bit of fight in Naga, SE of Manila. It is 125 Resource center and would have supplied Manila/Clark quite well. Alas, Japanese have moved in with considerable forces and  it's too late. Clark Field has 25 resources, but itt also stopped production when Japanese enter the hex. Thus, Allies in PI will have no accumulating supply from now on.

Wonder what Aztez can tell about my use of political points so far...be worried !! [:D]

Anyhow, IMHO, Andrew Brown's Experimental air-to-air combat model is excellent. A2A losses after 20 days are 40-48 !! Also, one sees the effects on IJAAF/IJNAF when they have to wage continuous bombing campaign against heavy flak and fly from distance. Those plane losses are just what could be expected after 3 weeks of continuous battle. Strain on Japanese pilot pools have been extreme.

Problem is for Japan that during the first couple of months they have to gamble. Erwin Rommel said: "Difference between taking risk and gamble in war is than when one takes a risk and fails, he can recover. When it's gamble, he cannot". IJN have to gamble because they cannot recover even from one major naval setback. Allies can recover from even few.

The supply situation is actually very good both in Philippines and Malaya! [:D] I thought about Naga but once you had moved your troops in than there would be nomore production so I decieded abandon it! [;)]

Hmpf! Your PP are low! [:'(] ...Are you building an space station somewhere?

As Sardaukar said Air to Air losses are totally diffent than in Stock! I guess these are way more realistic.

Things are progressing slowly and everything is on schedule in this game! [;)]

Fortunately Aztez ASW did hit only those subs that were already hit and heading to port.

To other things..I think I'll *hard-code* this thing to my hard drive:

"IF programmed by Gary Grisby OR Mike Wood
THEN DELETE or DE-INSTALL"

Getting so fed up with all hard-coded shit they programmed into this so it's absolutely hideous to try to mod. If I hadn't gotten this game as Xmas gift I'd be screaming for bloody murder to get my money back.

Been tabletop wargamer from lil kid..and computer wargamer since I got C-64 Commodore. Hardcode *this*, sly and underhanded ***** for a programmers.

Hmpf, you trying to do your own Mod? [8|][:)]

I'am somewhat disappointed that my Submarines haven't been more effective. I had hoped that more merchant ships would have been hit and sunk!

This war is going as expected it. Sardaukar seems to be reinforcing the Malaya peninsula and Luzon. He will soon reach Singapore where the eastern bunny is waiting! [:D][;)]
