Probably will fire WitP up now and then to check the new scenarios and patches, but not much else. Maybe casual game vs. AI if I am totally bored. I think this game has totally borked mechanics and I'm not enjoying it anymore. Going to games where combat system makes sense to me (like TOAW, Combat Mission series and maybe Harpoon 3 etc.) And yes, I think this game finally put Gary Grigsby into my "blacklist" for good...[:-]. Geezes, even Europa Universalis 2 has way better and scriptable AI, for example...and freakin game is real-time...

Japanese are in pretty good shape in this game (well..subs are bit hammered) and I think I'd soon get the Singapore too, so maybe some enterprising gamer would want to try this.

Ok. I do agree that the game has its flaws as you said. [:)]

I cannot guarantee that I will continue this but if there is someone out there who has will power to continue than I might be tempted to continue. If so than I can be reached via PM. But I would say that I prefer more experienced players and know "faces" from the forum.

...we will see what happens if not than this is done. As said no grudges and it has been enjoyable ride so far! [:D]

Kind of funny that WitP flaws come out "best" in PBEM. I thought PBEM would be more enjoyable since AI is nothing to write home about. Well, bollocks... [:'(]  It just shows the flaws better....[:(].
Nothing wrong with our game per se, tho. Kind of enjoyable surprises on both side.
Pity that the ground combat model is totally borked...along with supply and production...and...well, I could go on and on. And while on it, hang the beta-testers too ! [:D][:'(] Programmers just deserve to be burn on stake...

Naturally the shortcomings will become more apparent in PBEM due to the fact that you are playing againts individuals who can do stuff AI was not programmed to do.

I have enjoyed this CHS experimental scenario. It is diffrent than stock that is guaranteed.

Yeah, I think you had solid progress. Allthough I had a good position too but I wohn't reveal too much about this though.

Sardaukar got fed up with GG land combat and other weird things... [:D] I guess that is best way to summarize the situation. I do understand what he is saying though so I do not have any hard feelings to stop now. (I think it is 20th of January 1942)

So I think we are done unless some familiar "face" from the boards makes an offer I could not refuse so to speak..
