What´s the difference between a glitch and a bug? Aren´t both errors of a programm?

............

A glitch is when something strange happens to your opponent and you really don't give it much thought, A bug is when somethingstrange happens to you and you get pissed about it.

There are more bugs than glitches in WitP.[:D]

A bug is when something happens to your forces in-game resulting in a defeat.

When it happens to your opponent it's called "great leadership"

Since when do recons get escorts?

I see it all the time when I play the Japanese and have long range fighters on escort in a base where I have recon planes.

I suspect that the regular Allied players don't see this because they don't have as many dedicated recon planes or long range fighters.

As an Allied player, I've sent bombers and recon planes over the same base at short range and have seen the recon planes taking photos in between bomb runs. I've had this happen in a couple of PBEMs. No combat report on the photos is generated, but the recon planes do seem to benefit from the escort. This would seem to support Dive Bomber's observation.

That´s something I´m used to too. But what dive bomber1 describes is something I haven´t seen playing for over 2 years... mostly as Japanese...[8|]

Hmmm - I wonder if this is a recent change to the Game then, because I have been able to see and "depend" upon it in the pbems that I've started recently (v1.804). It's almost as good as getting two "sweeps" of an enemy base, because if I have good escorts at a base a bunch of them will escort bombers in the morning attack, then some will escort in the recons in the afternoon air phase and take care of the remaining CAP.

But then, I usually assign my escorts an enemy base as a "target" even when they are on CAP themselves so that I have a better chance to have them go with my bombers, so maybe that makes a difference...

Good luck -
