Hmmmm... Good idea. In 11 turns the Yorktown shows, and my ships should be about 100%. I believe I might, if I know where KB is.

Hoboy. Raiding Kwajalein against a human opponent is a ballsy excursion, men. Tarawa, maybe; Baker, okay if he plants some Bettys there for naval search/raids, but going within SBD range of Kwa this early can get you killed very fast. Those LBA are somewhat fragile, but Ms Betty and Ms Nell, escorted by LB Zeros, could give the USN a bouncing they'd not soon forget. Travel with care, it's a very long war that is the Allies to lose.

its a risk yes but i think itll be worth it

i think im gonna retake Baker, try and make him react to me and knock him offf balance

or maybe ill go after Tarawa, there cant be that many troops there yet

ive got Enterprise, Saratoga and Lexington and in 3 weeks ill have Yorktown

plus ive almost got all the VFs flying F4F-4s

ill use the TBDs for ASW Patrol and maximize SBD and F4F loadout

Pearl Harbor Hawaii 21 December 1941

Ryan: Sirs, weve got some news and intel here hot off the wire

Marky: Lets have it Commander

Ryan: Well sir, the Nips have secured Rabaul. And our estimation of their intentions will be to consolidate the SRA and push south, as well as push south from Rabaul, possibly try to overrun Fiji to cut our supply lines to Australia. Im also concernwed by the level of enemy xsub activity sir, the enemies deployment of their boats suggests theyre using them for recon and intel gathering, and since they have boats at Broom and Darwin and Canton they know where our ships our that escaped the Philippines, and that were reinforcing Canton.

The good news is that we have some good convoys moving troops about the South Pacific and the main convoys will arrive in Pearl within a few days.

We also know that there are at LEAST 6 enemy carriers southwest of Port Moresby, were not sure what theyre up to, but they appear to be heading west. they may intend to head west to broome and attack our ships there, so ive ordered all ship[s that can to sail for Perth, which is where we also have about 6 Sub Tenders and it should make a very good base for our baots as well as Brisbane

Marky: Good, good. At least weve got some good news

Ryan: Aye sir. Oh the Yorktown should arrive at Frisco within 3 weeks sir

Marky: Excellent. Commander what do you think of a counter invasion of Baker and Wake?

RYan: This early on sir? it would bne risky

Marky: But it could significantly disrupt the enemies plans.

Ryan: Yes sir but wed have to expose our carriers

Marky: Were not gonna win this war by NOT engaging the enemy Commander.

RYan: Granted sir.

Marky: Say the order was given, could it be done with what weve got riught now?

Ryan: Yes sir i believe so.

Marky: What target would you reccomend?

Commander Ryan looks at the map

Ryan: Baker sir. not only will it help to secure our supply lines but it could be a springboard base for taking Tarawa in the future, as well as a PBY and bomber base, not only that but the enemy may percieve it as a threat to Tarawa and a raiding base against Kwajalein, as well as a good forward and repair base for our boats

Marky: Hmm, Baker it is then Commander, begin preperations

RYan: Aye aye sir.
