Hello jmlima,

judging from the number of hits for the thread I guess there are more than a couple of people interested. I, for one would not mind giving it a go, although I would second the suggestion of the Maestro to limit the size of the scenario so that it can be completed in one sitting.

Cheers,

Perhaps we should just start signing up-maybe if we build it, they will come.

So, JeF, if your offer is still good to use the Drop Zone for this tourney, sign me up.

I propose "Tanks at Platamon" as the scenario for this 1st tourney, if another participant seconds it-let's do it.

We should have a set start time; so how about 1 May-this should be plenty of time for folks to get in line.  Hopefully, we will have enough participants to take advantage of Arjuna's gracious offer of the prize.  But even if we are a small group, let's do it.

Has Gary or Bil checked in for the tournament yet? Maybe it should be like High School: a students versus faculty game. Or in this case, customers versus beta/dev team. Now, someone just has to propose the stakes. :)

I'd certainly be willing to participate in such a tournament. The more cannon fodder, the better, no?  ;)

Ok....stumbled on this link...but I'll come in.

I generally hate online play or pbem (bit of a loner), but I'm willing to give it a go...as long as I don't have to chat to any of you plebs! [;)]

Hi All,

I had the opportunity to play COTA online a few weeks ago just by good luck. I visited BHQ to play CoI. Imagine my surprise when I saw someone in the COTA room. In any case we agreed upon a short scenario and enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. We used medium speed and with a short game it took about an hour.

Multi-Player through BHQ did not work and so we used Hamachi for connecting which worked very well. Regretably I have not seen a soul in the room since.

Count me in for the tourney so long as the scenarios are short. It is a great idea.

@z1812

Hi, was a good game but I haven't been back to BHQ much. Part cos waiting for new patch before starting new game, part cos that was one of only two games I ever got there in hours of hanging around. If you've still got my Hamachi network, drop in there to see if I'm online or drop me a line.

As for a tournament, well, not my bag but if it means generating a game or two online...
