Well it looks like he really is serious about taking most of Alaska. I'm going to commit two x P-40 groups there ( one E, one B ) and am drafting in a couple of additional regiments. It should suffice.

This was just a Shock Attack forced by one of my units retreating over a river into an enemy-occupied hex.
And in other news what looks like a large gaggle of BBs and CAs looks like it is getting ready to sprint in and bombard Rangoon. In retaliation I have flown in 70 Pe-2s and 30 Il-4 torpedo bombers. I've moved a few fighters into Moulmein to make room for them. I expect to take heavy losses from the bombardment but I expect to be able to make up those airframe losses by striking back hard with these 100 bombers an catching a couple of the enemy heavy units ( CAs and BBs ).
I think we're about to see several score planes and pilots destroyed plus, perhaps, a couple of cruisers. Either that or the IJN will nuke-bombard and I'll lose a hundred planes for nothing.
