TURN 29
Following Ande's advice of incorperating some levelbombers into the Spanish Air Force I launch an Air Attack against Britians supply depot.
Note: this attack came after a couple of other air operations over Britian to soften up there fighters.
-Britian also lost something like 7 aircraft on there turn attacking my Infantry again. My fighter II's intercepted and wrecked havic on the british sorte.
I am impressed at how much structural damage this small group of level bombers was able to inflict.[good advice Ande...[;)]]

TURN 29
Alright... I 've decided to rename Army Group South to the 1st Marine Army or 1st MA...
So the 1st MA is staged and ready for the Invasion of Britian. A cargo fleet is in port...although i doubt they'll be able to tranport they whole Army in one shot.
The plan is to invade the southwest point where i will be able to run supplies through Plymoth, then proceed to take London.
In the southern part of Britian I will be able to use my air power to help my attack.[My plans have to remain fluid, so plans may change at anytime once the Invasion begins.
- In the south the Germans parked a large air formation in Venice which I proceeded to punish with extreme predjudice.[:-]

Turn 30
Britian is receiving regular and intense bombardment.
The green circles are areas where scouting misions were flown to discover enemy positions. British fighters usually intercept these missions.
Not sure why they didn't this time.
In the red you 3 attacks. Top to bottom they are a strategic bombing raid on Birmingham, a tac bomber attack on 2 tank corps, and in the south a Naval barrage on London.
Hope they didn't spill their tea.[:D]

TURN 32
INVASION!!![X(]
The 1st MA begins its invasion of Britian capturing Plymouth...
Spanish Air and Naval assets have been pounding the brits with massive long range attacks for several turns now. The brits have been visibly weakened by the bombardment.
Nearly half of the 1st MA has landed on the first drop with all but one unit landing on the next drop...THIS IS A GREAT DAY IN SPANISH HISTORY!
-In other news new divisions are being formed in Africa to form a new Army now being dubbed as the Africa corps.
Rumor has it Spanish spies have enlisted a brilliant young German General to head up this new army...He hails by the name Erwin Rommel...
Hmmm...We shall see if our spies claims of this sauerkraut eater are correct.[High command doubts any inferor German could possibly lead an Army better than a Spaniard.][:-]

START OF TURN 33
The british are quick to react to the invasion of their homeland...That decrepeted old man who leads them tries to rally the British people with long winded speaches.
Spanish spies report a recent quote from this Churchill to high command...

"You ask, What is our policy? I will say; “It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us: to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy.” You ask, What is our aim? I can answer with one word: Victory—victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival."
Sir Winston Chuchill
-There are some in high command who seem to have been shaken by this mans word.
Some low ranking Spanish Generals have begun to speak openly against the Chief of staff's little pet project in England. They argue that while the Spanish toil in what could be a long drawn out fight in England the Soviets grow stronger by the day and we should invade Italy and Germany now before The Soviets gobble them all up.
Franco was outragged at such rumors coming out of his own Army and ordered Spanish secret service to arest anyone who speaks such treason.
He says no one who drinks tea as often as these Saxons do could possibly stop the might of Spanish military power and gives his full endorsment to the Chief of staff.

Agreed...In France the AI units are mostly green and damaged and in England they are experenced and mostly intact.
I say mostly cause my airpower has inflicted a little damage.[;)]

TURN 34
Pretty quiet in France... There have been a few suicidal attacks against Geneva in the Center and in the south the Germans have tested the line North of the river a couple of times.
You can see how the last attack left there Armor unit nearly destroyed. It was at a strength level of around 200.
I have also been launching a lot of air attacks against Venice. The Germans have been determined to establish an Air presence there.

TURN 34
Invasion of England continues as planned so far. English resistence has been fierce.
Nearly all of the 1st MA has landed now and has managed to push a little towards London.
Massive air and Naval bombardments have pounded british positions as all Air and Naval assets have switched to ground support. Even still the British units appear much more powerful than the 1st MA.
Franco has fired the Air general in charge of Spanish air operations over England. Franco believes that had he done his job properly the British ground forces would only be a fraction of there former strength.
Surely his replacment will do better.
-In other news head of Spanish Naval production has announced the completion of Spain's first Aircraft carrer!
Once the other is completed and added to the task force the will be sent out to sea.

After turn 33
The brits launch an air attack against the 1st MA...
My arty was pretty well wiped out in the attack. Although British air assets have been pretty well wipe out this attack shows a real need for more air cover over southern England.
HMMM...
I think I will build an airbase in Northern France and place a large formation of fighters there to give ny forces a little mor protection.
Also I think I will transfer one of my AA units to England and place them under the command of the 1st MA.
A terrible oversite on my part... Hope Franco doesn't fire me.[8|]

TURN 34
The 1st MA with the help of air and Naval assets inflicts massive casualities on the English.
The British Army is being crushed under the foot of Spanish Air power...Franco is pleased.[:D]
-Note I have built an airfield in northern France and stationed a fighter wing there.

TURN 35
There is increased activity in Africa.
Perhaps the formation of the Africa Corps has come just in time.
Rommel says these wine drinkers will pose no threat to Spanish interest in North Africa and the Africa corps has things well at hand.

After turn 35
The French attempt an attack across the river in Africa. This is the largest force the French has sent after me in Africa yet.
-In England the Brits launch a series of small air strikes against one of my armor divisions in southern England.
The brits lose 4 aircraft and I lose 1 fighter. No armor units were destroyed. Makes a big diference when my fighters intercept.[;)]
