Mifune forwarded me Japanese BC art - it is used in BBO too -

and I went looking for a place to put it

Seems I created one - but we did not have art for it - so we can implement this by uploading the image and changing the pointer

He also sent me someone's Ukermak - a German tanker (which eventually blew up in Japan)


We have the ship - but use Japanese tanker art for it

I am trying to find a hole - this is very hard to figure out - but easy to do if we have one

I will upload this art - and a revised file set - by morning - and we will be done with this.

Meanwhile I found we could do a RTN CL class using Ning Hai/Ping Hai art - the same configuration
and Japan nearly got the contract to build these (and DID built most of the RTN vessels in this period).

And for EBO I transferred Lamotte Piquette to Madagascar - where it may be more meaningful - as that is a place where VFN
has a real mission - whereas in Indochina nothing makes much sense for VFN - and it is laid up anyway and only exists as a possible
siezure asset: IRL she was bombed by USN before she could do anything. But this scenario - EBO - is more or less "RHS Iron Storm"
and has lots of cruisers on the other side - so these may be nice additions.

That art came from the RHS site as Mifune posted it. In turn, he may have got it from me.

He DID send me a No 13 art set - and I might have mixed them up -

Terminus: email and file tracing shows that I got my latest set from Mifune - who used files I sent him but put them in the right form to use - and I in turn mixed up the Fujimoto schil he sent for No 13 with the one you sent.

The email from you has dropped off the server - and I have overwritten the image.

If you can resend it - we can issue the final art and move on.

I have made some additions and will upload now - ]\

both art and files (to get pointers right)

I learned we did not have and RTN destroyer - two RTN minelayers - added to all -
and I figured out we have suitable art in the set for the RTN CLs - and also I learned
these were nearly built in Japan by a contractor - so EBO has added these two ships
using Japanese rather than Italian weapons. In EBO we do not have the war between
Thailand and France, so the ships lost or damaged in 1940 are not - and the second
batch of 4 SSC are built.

I also corrected or enhanced some other items - again mainly in EBO but some in all -
including significantly for EBO we took IJA coast defense forts at important locations
and put old 14 inch guns in them. [IJA had only ONE turret for ALL guns - from 8 inches
to 16 inches - it had ten inches of armor on the face - it was able to mount any army or
navy gun between those calibers - a very interesting idea]

Ukermack art was donated and I was able to work it in.
