Hey Jess....the last time I saw that many things explode into flames was during the fireworks display last 4th of July!
Wow...if turns were being rated by the Motion Picture Academy, this one would be Rated X simply because of the violence!!! Parts of 152's were sailing into the air all over the place...here a boom...there a boom....everywhere a boom boom! I had to turn away after the tenth 152 went up...it was getting too gory for even me to enjoy....well, almost.
After posting my warning that I had used mines in my battles to counter expected airdrops and the hordes of cheaper Soviet armor...Jenny went full force at one of my fields and paid a terrible toll. It re-inforces my intentions to call for limits on these weapons in future battles...as this one turn proves how bad they can unbalance a game.
Now mind you though, there are gaps in these fields....I have never made a continous belt in any game as it would keep me from advancing when the time was ripe...However, in this little brawl I guess Jess forgot to tell Jenny to send recon units out to find those gaps. I guess you might call that a mistake.
Ok, I need to go say a prayer for all the splattered Russians that were wiped out on that turn...I'd light a candle for them, but I think they wouldn't appreciate more fire at this period of time.
ps....Reading Sun Tzu was the best thing I ever did!
