Real Life Pilots For Inclusion

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Not sure if Van or van is correct, both are in common use in documents/books. I don't know if the Dutch have a convention for it.

For German names von is correct but you can still find Von in common use amongst non German speakers.

Yes but I'm going to give it a miss as I have Vols 1-8 and correct me if I'm wrong but Vol 9 is a roll of honour so all info will be contained in the earlier volumes.

Will try and post some of 6 Group tonight.

Full names would be useful but as you say without crew position etc will be hard to make easy use of.

got one, I think

Fo Harry John Randall 49 Squadron, KIA 8-18-43 (119813)

yeap, that is him, CCGC has him also

SL Richard Nevil Todd-White, HCU, KIA 8-18-43 (37368)

odd

I get Walter Ralph Haskell, 57 Squadron, KIA 8-17-43 (44563)

wonder if he was lost early in the raid and the others later on ? or if there was a another raid on the 18th

Shaggy

you got anything on 247 ?

I got "Chuck" Cosar
"Oscar" Cosar

but then I find a kill claim for a Fo. C.S. Cossar from 247 around the same time

these could be another brother pair (I have found more then a few of them in the RAF and US) in the same squadron

do you have anything for them ? time should be late 43, early 44

Not got anything on any Cosar or Cossar

Two brothers for you, I've only just entered their details. Interestingly both were definitely nicknamed "Duke"
