Sounds like you don't got a whole lot to work with, there, Gobbo.

You got your soldiers showin' the old men and women how to wind their Ace bandages all the way up to their knees?

Know now, that we don't trust a single one of you, so don't go tryin' to be friendly. We'll kill you all, then let our God sort you out.

Seriously, M4 Jess, I don't think the Navy HAD 16 battleships. :D

Waitin'

Post by Capt. Pixel »

Just waiting for the Marines to blow the whistle and get everything started. Good thing the seas are calm today.
FJ said he'd have his plate clear and be ready to go tomorrow.

Preparing to watch the Missouri, et al, fling Volkswagen sized shells of High Explosive onto the southern shores of Japan.

'Comparing the Height of Bamboo -
Takekurabe to iu koto

By "comparing the height of bamboo" is meant that whenever you keep your body close to the body of the opponent, do not allow your body to "scrunch up", but rather, stretch your legs, torso, and neck as well and keep close to the opponent so that one is face-to-face with him as if one could win by being the taller one. One must be resourceful about this.'

The Book of Water - Miyamoto Musashi

It's gonna be hard to even make toothpicks out of your bamboo once our artillery gets done with you, Shorty. :p

I don't think putting lifts in your sandals is gonna be 'resourceful' enough. :D

Argggg!!!!

I have some slightly good news....and some really bad news.

The bad news is that Im going on vacation for a week and a half.
Im afraid your gona have to find someone else for my place.

The good news is that Im going to Antitem and Gettysberg and im taking my labtop so Ill be able to log onto the internet and the forum.

The other bad news is that I let a friend have My lost victories CD to burn 7.0 ( and only 7.0) and he hasnt given it back yet.
So I have no hope of installing it on my labtop.

:( :o Very sorry guys
this vacation slipped my mind and someone told me about it only today.

I second that nomination - you up for it, Orzel? :D

BTW, we should, collectively agree on a save game slot, eh?

I've got any slot available except #4.

I'm Back from the black hole of threads..

Post by TimeTanker »

Hmmmm...I was trying to Choose a message Icon and it posted my short but succinct reply...

Reporting for duty Capt. Pixel as ordered!:D

I didn't take the time to read through 3 pages of postings so where do we stand with this, Capt?

I see that this thread started a while back. Has it been that hard to find players?

Final Setup

Post by Capt. Pixel »

Okay - here it is from my side:

Save Game Slot #6

Capt. Pixel and TimeTanker play the Allies vs
Goblin and Hellcat as the scurilous Japanese.

Allies move first - we need a little time to prepare our offensive.

First allied player will e-mail to first Japanese player - who's the first Japanese player? What's on Second - I don't know - Third base! :D

Sorry for Not Replying...

Post by Orzel Bialy »

I see you have a capable replacement now...just want to apologize for not posting a reply either way. Very rude of me...but I haven't been on the boards a lot the last two days, just some quick pop in and outs (sick son) and now my Yahoo account is screwed up. :(

So in the following order:
Thanks for the nomination ;)
...sorry for missing the chance :(
...and glad to hear you have found a player. :)

Anyway, things should be getting back to normal now, since my son was up and running around today before I left for work.
