Well, if there was a game (which there's not), the development team (which doesn't exist, and of which I'm certainly not a member) would definitely try their hardest to finish the job before the end of the year. But that's all strictly academic, of course.

IF it were to exist, in any but the most feverish mind.

[:D] That was good, also what I'd expect now that you alleged lot are delving into ai high strangeness. Keep up the good work!(If there is such a project of course)

Its a hotly contested race:

We have "Jutland" and "AE"in a dead heat!(If there really is a race)With Bombing the Reich in front by an aileron and getting ready for a powerdive to the finish!

Hmmn, think I'll lay a bet down on Hard Sarge and H[;)]arley.

If AE existed (which it doesn't), and I was working on it (which I'm not), I would hope we'd finish before Eagle Day to Bombing The Reich, because then I'd have free time to get into it.

[:D] Why? Something which doesn't exist will check your HD for WITP (at least version 1.0) in order to run? [:D] This thread is funny.[:)]
You guys rock. .. or whatever figment of my imagination you all are ...pretends to rock.

Actually, we are not pretending at all. We are all just in your mind. We are not really here. If indeed you are really here...

so the big fat guy in the red, usually starts hanging around 24 December, who also doesnt exist, may, actually still be able to bring a non existent copy??

out of interest, the delays that were caused by AI digging - is this all there is left to go - everything else just hanging around waiting for a working AI to be bolted on the side??

Well, hypothetically, that would certainly be a big ticket item. But there would be other stuff as well.

My stuff is largely done, aside from AI. The scenario I've done is called The Thousand-Mile War and deals with the Aleutian Campaign. I'm also responsible for the Coral Sea scenario, but that's really just a port from stock WitP, so I can't call it "mine", as such.

and do 'they' send you AI v4 and you give it a bash - report the faults - and receive AI v5 and so on, or is it 'cool, its all ready im waiting for the AI'?

i ask only to establish if youve seen the AI working yet and have an opinion of how far from THE AI WE ALL WANT (TM) AE is

It's working, but not well enough yet. I'm not prepared to speculate on how far we are from it.

Terminus created the Aleutians Campaign for the AE project, (if there were any project to be in existence), and personally got the ball rolling on the ships, (if I might believe the somewhat incoherent ramblings of some otherwise credible persons).

Did you ever see "Arsenic and old lace"?
Remember the poor uncle who thought he was Teddy Roosevelt, and was always charging up the stairs to capture San Juan Hill?
Well.....it's something like that.....

Just to clarify, there's no AE, but if there was, I couldn't be said to have "personally gotten the ball rolling on the ships". There was a who's-going-to-do-which-classes and ships session, and I picked IJN carriers and subs, since that was what I had the most reference materials on.

The latter. Art is done by far more talented people than me.

I would have appreciated the clarification much more, if you had been referring to an actual event, relating to an actual enhancement, to what we know IS an actual game.

Ever eager to show my appreciation.
