For this things we need more slots for terraintypes and more slots for terrainvariants.
Than we can make really good maps in my PG3D-Terrainstyle and all other new ideas.
Thats all - that I have to say. Jason and Co: Please Go for it and modified the exe-file for our dreams !

The LWS looks like the German equivalent of the DUKW or Higgins boat.  Were they ever actually used?  What's their history?

3 were ready for Sealion.

A dozen or two (depending on your source) were used in the Mediterranean and the Batlic.

That's some impressive stuff Indeed! But the big question is are this new Graphics and new units going to include all three Editions or just the Eastern Front and Western Front Edition?

Don't worry, as I've stated many times before, Rising Sun will be getting a hefty expansion in the future. I have started on the Japanese already.

Thank you Jason Patho for your quick reponse. Like I said before World war two was a World war and like to treat this edition classic as such. Its what got my attention and why I bought it when Talon soft was release it. Its not that like the Rising edition better than the other two editions. As a matter of fact I probably play in EF a little bit more than RS. The WF edition is the one I play the least and yet I have play with it quite a bit as well.

What I like about this series is that all three have a different flavor to it and you can fight in each one of them a little different than the other. I love the terrain in the RS edition and the way the Japanese fought in those far away Island. It was a totaly different war but yet again part of the same war. Its facinating to think that this two diverse World Powers Germany and Japan came close to pulling it out if it weren"t for some bad luck and poor disicion by their Leaders. Thank God!

I truely believe that the better you make and improve all three Edition on equal terms the better this Series as whole will bee!

I Believe and trust you Jason.

Thank you again!

PS please do not make the Japanese units too hard to beat. They where great fighters and perhaps the toughest soldiers in World war two but they where not unbeatable by any streach of the Imagination. Their ability to fight on when all resources and hope where gone was beyond believe. They where almost alway out number and out gun, There weapons where from the nineteen thirties and there tatics where strange from a Western Military mind set yet they knew how to use their weapons well and they always gave us a hard time.

I would give them a slight higher morale points than the Allies but thats it. Maybe I would give them a higher ability to infiltrate Allies Front lines and a bit more ablity to take a pounding on a fix position before retreating.

What about Ambulances?

Is their a way to use Ambulances c.q. Hospitals in the game?

In the game like it is now Ambulances (Max strength 2, high victory points) can be used to transport damaged (wounded) infantry with max strenght of 2. Hospitals (High victory points) can be placed. Defend this units just "keep them alive".

It would be nice if "red cross" units could help to get units out of a disrupted status (Like Commanders) or restore damaged infantry units with 1 strenghtpoint if in the same hex for 5 turns or something.

Just thoughts.................................

Interesting idea. I think everything you suggested could be done by modifying the platoon file; except for restoring SPs.

What?

How about trying to maintain the scale of the game itself?
Your graphic work is beautiful. [:)]
I think hospitals, and ambulances that would add strengthpoints to units or undisrupt them, is way out of this scale. [:-]

Thanks Gary! [:)]
If they are going to have an ambulance or hospital effect the game, then they should put in "Donut Dolly's", USO clubs, "Gin Joints", and Brothels? [8|]

"Wayyyyyyy to much thinnin' goin' on here, boy!" Not enough scalin'? [;)]

But, I love the graphics!
