I had understood that the max attacks per turn of 3 meant that I would have three combat rounds, but now I find myself with a fourth round.  So now I'm thinking that "max attacks" really means that the most percentage that any one round will be 30% of your turn.  I guess.  Somebody who knows should interject something right about now.

As you can see from this image of my T1R4 air missions I have decided that I have severely damaged the Soviet air force and that they have no fighters left airworthy this turn so that it's safe to put my fighters on interdiction missions. Also, note that I have used the high-level bombers every round this turn and that most of them are tired. I usually put them on bed-rest when they turn orange or red instead of beating a dead horse more.
