10-2-43: From the old movie-"12 o'clock high" I remember a phrase used by the Air Wing Commander-"Maximum Effort". This turn Rabaul was bombed from 3 different airfields in a rain turn. All available 2/4 engine LBA were utilized in the attack.
If u note the above VP chart it shows my operational losses for this turn. I calculate a +65vp point addition just from the air raid at Rabaul. 82x20vp per turn (which is one third the attack force) should just give me my decisive victory over Ikesan99. Intel has shown alot of transport traffic around Rabaul. I would like to thank Ike for the high density of troops at the base. Good target practice.
