Why no demo?

From the front lines in France and Russia to the deserts of North Africa and the airfields and convoys of Britain, the campaigns of World War II are yours to command in WW2: Time of Wrath! This turn-based grand strategy title, the highly improved and expanded sequel to WW2: Road to Victory, puts the player in charge of the political, economic and military decisions of one or more Axis or Allied nations, including minor nations.

No doubt I can tell it is a different approach to the European theater, but it seems lacking in the air-naval model.  There are plenty of custom campaigns from SC basis, much like TOAW since it has a similar editor.  Not to mention SC's excellent PT and Nupremal & Big Als world campaigns, but I do see potential here, I'm just wondering if its worthy of the effort.  I don't know how much dedication these wasteland guys have as I'm well aware of Hubert Cater's.
well, air model could be a little more stream-lined, currently it's sometimes hard to say what's going on, anyway it is very similiar to SC2 actually... Naval model is different, more abstract, and I for one actually like it - finding the enemy fleet should not be easy or obvious as in SC2. The game devs are quick to answer questions and take suggestions to heart... so it does look good.

Whatever they do with SC2, it's on an unbearable (for me) square-covered map ! Forget any notion of "front" unless your mind is zigzag-oriented [:D] !
Until now I much preferred CEAW - a little too simple, but clean and fun. For ToW a little more time will tell, I appreciate many parts of it but some are lacking.

Ha!   Some minds are better with space-relations than others I guess, nothing wrong with simplicity, I prefer it, but building a front in SC, no matter what the version, is simply a no-brainer......of course visual concepts could be one of my strong points.[:D]

Oh...and PDF, a suggestion, stay away from the AA series.

Which AA series ? You mean Airborne Assault, HTTR and CotA ? There are squares in, but it's totally different, the gameplay is not based on the squares, it's just to mark the map.

Awesome!  I downloaded the demo two nights ago and played a bit last night.  I enjoy the look (with traditional counters, of course!) and interface of the game, and I'm thrilled to try it with a demo since I get so much more from a demo than reading AARs and viewing screenshots.

One issue I'm having -- the mouse cursor is very jumpy and slow to react and the map scrolling is not very smooth.  Is this normal?
