My small force up north is holding pretty well. What remaining infantry there rallies and prepares to receive whatever the Germans are throwing at them.

Other than that, not much action this turn, I disperse 2 more SS squads, one in the middle and one in the south, one of my M3 half-tracks are destroyed in the process.

My rear is in shambles. Crewmen abandon their rocket artillery and grab small arms to fight the 2 armored cars which have so insolently charged into my HQ group.

The battle rages on. You lost 3 tanks this turn. 2 in the south and 1 in the middle. I lost a tank as well in the south which I foolish drove around think your tanks where all up a bit fighting my veh's.

In the middle it's a rough place to be sure. My forces continue to try and manuvor close enough to take the vh's but get turned at every attempt.

In the north things are faring better but the troops there are holding far longer then I would like.

In your back yard I take a couple vh's and kill a few more joe's. They are having lots of fun :D

I'll give this battle one thing for sure and that is it's intence. No matter how many veh's I kill you always seem to have more :)

Nothing much happens this turn, the Americans are consolidating and bunkering down to receive the remnant of the German forces.

Artillery support for the Americans is non-existent as the chaos of battle prevents any decent radio contact.

It's probly more the weather then anything when it comes to your OB art.

The few troops left in the north situation is dire. The US forces are now surrounded and artillery tubes begin to swing their way. Now that the last remaining tank up there has been delt with germans feel the north is theirs.

In the middle american forces are holding but are underconstant attack and artillery is beginning to fall in mass on their positions.

In the south the US seems to be losing it's ability to hold. As the last german contingant of veh's continues it's push twords the vh's.

In the US's rear of cource more bloodshed :)

Another one of your flammpanzers up north is destroyed. The US Rangers are holding pretty well, forming an impenetrable line along the Northern VHes.

My middle is pretty secure, but there seems to be an endless amount of SS infantry up there.

The South is impenetrable. I don't think you'll go anywhere down south.

My north is precarious though and artillery is dropping all over my troops, especially in the middle. The Bloodshed continues

To the rear, my stubborn 4.5 inch artillery crews crew their rockets once again, and I once again hit the 9 key and bail them out to fight hehehehe

The German StuGs in the South just seem unstoppable... I have almost nothing left to deal with it, with my tanks running out of AP ammunition.

The brave troopers in the north are still holding their positions even with the intense pressure from both sides, armor to their front and infantry to their rear.

The middle is holding...just barely.

The rear is holding also...scraping the bottom of the barrel for troops.

Ey after this game I want a rematch!!! :D

Oh their stoppable, for instace you just blew one up with inf from 100 meters.

In the north the last off the yankie scum is cleaned of the hill, a stug was imobalized in the process, however one of my PzIV crews finialy got back in their tank so it is rolling agian.

In the middle things are starting to fold for you, the artillery is taking it's toll on the defenders there and my troops are advancing twords those vh's. They will soon , well relitivly anyhow be reinforced by the north hill squads.

In the south you are holding thats for sure  However you positions have been noted and tubes are turning your way.

In you rear that veh that got imbolized otw to the fun got going again and came in to tear apart some crewmen.

P.S. The german high command warns the U.S. not to call in reinforcements. If any are sighted GHC will correct it's orginial mistake of only bringing 2 tigers to this fight :p

Yep, the North hill is wiped clean of my troops.

In the middle, my troops hold despite the swarm of SS trying to go for the VHes, I hold them back with the machineguns on what armor remains in the middle.

The South is quiet...Where could those little StuGs be hiding? :D

The rear is faring much better now however :D My HQ SURRENDERED! BUT... 2 M3 Scout Cars mounted with .50 AAMGs come to the rescue, perforating one of those armored cars with lead. The other is destroyed by the heroic assault of a rocket crew.

Serves your little armored cars well for trying to get my home VHes!!! hehehehe :D

Reinforcements? I don't even know how :) Besides, my men wouldn't want any help, too proud :p

Just in case you are not being sarcastic about the reinforcements comment it goes like this:

Under your HQ menu ('h' I belive but it's the little tent button regardless) there is a button for reinforcements. You get 20% of the total pts you had at the beginning to buy reinforcements with. You buy them just like you orginialy purchesed troops. They show up 2-3 turns later at the flags on the back border of the map (not the one that has RT on it, thats for retreating).

The trick is soon as you buy them I get victory points. Also I get even more if I wipe them out.

Anyhow this turn another AC showed up in the back but didn't actualy do much. In the south things are fairly quiet.

In the north I am busy trying to convince my troops we have won the hill and instead of running away they should go south, only about 30% belive me the rest are still trying to retreat.

In the middle I gang bang one of your tanks but fail to destroy it

That about sums it up , still a long way to go before this one is decided your rangers are pretty potent and I know of at least 2 of your tanks that are just imobalized that I can't get to yet.

"Rangers lead the way!"
"Where?"
"ALL THE WAY!"

With this loud battlecry the proud rangers in the middle VHes charge blindly into the fog and fire their weapons at a surprised SS squad, forcing the squad to retreat.

An M4 also in the middle is immobilized. I must get it some help before it's totally destroyed... Another M4 disperses a Pz100 team in the road going north, that team must lost it's compass. The M4 proceeds south to the middle hill and fires HE and MG rounds at the SS, (another Pz100 team), forcing all 3 German units into one hex.

It's still quiet in the south, I'm awaiting Arctic's charge. Troopers hunker down as artillery rounds fall all around them. Most of them are veterans of Omaha beach.

That AC you sent in the rear is once again destroyed by AAMGs. That makes it 3 or 4 now right? :D Keep sending those ACs to the meat grinder, my troops there are willing to accomodate :D

Sorry if I sounded sarcastic, but I wasn't :D Don't worry, I won't need reinforcements :P

My troops on the north hill are finialy moving south.

In the middle that tank just won't die  That other M4 takes out one of my few remaining tanks.

In the south my troops get set for the charge just a few more art rounds should soften them up enugh.

In you rear I sent something that can take a bit more punishment then a AC :) Those rear vh's will be mine!

It is mostly quiet in the battlefield. In the middle an SS squad is forced to retreat by an M18. The hill is swarming with them however. A ranger squad charges but is ambushed by no less than a platoon of them.

To the South, a rifle squad sneaking forward through my lines is engaged and almost destroyed by a sniper and an M3 HT.

TO the rear, a !Panther G and a Mark IV! attack my VHes. This is the ultimate test for my crewmen, will they be able to resist the big cats??

Reinforcements from the South are heading to the middle and to the rear respectively... hope they get there in time. :D
(I did not call reinforcements, some troops are just moving around the map to reposition :D)

You think that middle hill is swarming with them now wait till the northern forces reach it :)

In the US rear spec ops forces move in on those vh's to aide the "big cats" in taking them.

In the middle the US is barly holding on. Massive artiller is falling all over that hill and they are in danger of losing their last tank that is gaurding those VH's (well I think it's the last tank)

To the middle a StuG40 is destroyed. :D

Some SS are also routed by rangers :D

Your rear vh's defenders will not be able to hold against me that I promis!

In the middle I am but a hop skip and jump away from those vh's and my steady march south.
