You dont want to use fast transports for evac (at least not as of right now). This has been one of my on-going fights with the naval team. They load horribly slow at a non-base or a low level base. As it stands, you are better off sending in an AP to evac, or at least by my experience. Maybe others have seen different results (I havent played a lot since it went gold). I actually started an 1 player game with the Japs as the AI (killing time between WitP turns) and have found a few things worth reporting in this also.
The fast transport mission in general seems to be completely nerfed, to the detriment of the game I think.
