You still seem to think you'll be buying the game when it comes out... Most peculiar...

Speedy, I think T (aka "The Big Toe of this outfit") means that he is going to buy AE for you. Quite sweet, really.

Peculiar that someone working on a game under the 'supervision' of Matrix is trying to discourage sales....odd...most odd[:'(]

It's a valid conclusion...T has had a soft spot for me as evidenced by his disturbing PM's to me from time to time[;)]

And the more I look forward to wiping the floor with you[:'(]

Translated = I'll be mopping the floor with T's head whilst wearing my best WiTP outfit kicking Chad's arse in the Aleutians scenario

Leave the forums for a few minutes and look what happens!

Just remember Steve that you wont have any T-34/85's to save you this time [:D]

The Catalina's that start in the PI belong to the Asiatic Fleet, which is unrestricted. The USAAF and Philippine AF assets in the PI are assigned to USAAFE, which is a restricted HQ. The B-17s can be "bought out" as well as a recon unit, but the fighters, a couple of small bomber units, and the rest are locked down. You can disband the units, which lose the aircraft, but in many cases the pilots will go back into the pool. There are some complex rules about what happens when you withdraw or disband. You'll need someone from the air team to explain that one. I'd probably mess it up if I tried to explain it.

All righty, thanks. Allied Anxiety level reduced.

(My question was about reality, not in-game. Heh. Sorry.)

So if the USAAF is restricted, and I can't change it, does McArthur still come into play with the Southwest command? or is he lost when the USSAF unit is captured?
