There should now be an opening in this game... it's too bad this could have been fun but not when it's run by some "egohead".

We are still waiting on the 1.08 version of the game. Basically countries have been decided and pre-game DOW's have been submitted. We are in the standard military "Hurry up and wait." phase now. :) I will check with the others and maybe we can start a thread updating the forum when things happen, if people are interested.

Actually, I believe we are still waiting on the official diplomacy message of who is starting at war with who so we can start stratagizing our setups.. we already know the bids and such but not the results of round 2 of prediplomacy.

nope, nothing has happened... I thought we would get the pre-existing wars brief before setup (which we are not ready for anyway yet) so no rush but that I do believe is the next thing in the chain is the formal announcement of existing diplomacy before we set up.

We have not started yet. I am still in systems test with 1.08 right now. I will probably wait until 1.07 general release so that I'm not supporting multiple versions. This is not Gaz but me!

Yeah, I know it's you.... we knew this would be a long time getting started but Gaz INSISTED that we get stuff done RIGHT AWAY!!! So much so that he said "if you don't like it then quit"... classic laughter stuff here.
