Meaning that you are paying for both immediate download and then more later....AND you're buying the CD too? Why are you doing that?

IMHO... there is no reason to get the extended download service if your getting the CD. And there is really no reason to get the CD unless it comes with a printed manual.

As long as you keep your order number and password the download will be there. I bought SPWaW Generals over 3 years ago, it still downloads. Just tried couple others, they still download.

It does seem a bit unusual to me but for a game that's mean't to be coming out in 3 to 4 days time we still don't know much will it cost. Also, what will be the package? Digital + physical with glossy printed manual or not.
Huh?

Don't know about the price but given the box pic on the product screen it looks as if it will be a DX (Digital Express) release so digital + physical but no printed manual.

What I posted above was what Armada2526 cost me. I did Not ask for Extended D/L but the access fee was included anyway from Digital River. Of course it was My 1st Digital D/L thru Matrix.

We are required to add the Extended Download option by DR. You are welcome to remove it. Especially if you order a physical copy, there's no need to worry about that.
