the only thing I don´t get is why setting it as a training unit when you can always do training? [&:]
A Training unit (as opposed to simply a unit training [:D]) is allowed to expand to double pilots. AND you can rotate the trained pilots back to the general pool in groups of 10. Also you can only get the instructors bonus (PMA section 7 Item 3) in a training unit

for me, doubling the pilots is something I probably won´t do as I can´t see much of a need for it, except lowering micromanagement as I guess if every pilot has his own aircraft he will train up faster. Rotating in groups of 10 can also be an advantage but again it´s more or less only lowering micromanagement. The instructor sounds interesting. In a normal group set to training you get the leader and veterans as bonus for the rookie training but probably not the instructor? Whereas in a training unit you get the leader, veterans and the instructors that were sent back to training command?
