I generally play mouse heavy and keyboard light, so I'll give the 'U' button a try. Thanks!

PNG was probably the problem. I'm glad you got thing working.ORIGINAL: sPzAbt653
Comparing the 'Advanced Game Options' from the XP to the 98, some were different, so I made them all the same as the XP machine (as that one looks ok) and now it seems fine. Maybe it was the 'Support PNG Graphics' being 'On' ?
If they only have a win 98 machine, I won't hear from them for a couple of months while they download by dial-up;) Seriously, I can't include GDIPLUS, I don't have rights to do so, i believe it is only authorized to be distributed with XP and above. I can look at whether it's needed for win 98 for 3.5.ORIGINAL: sPzAbt653
It still takes 3 minutes to load, either a scenario or the editor. That's something not worth wasting time trying to figure out. It's like dealing with a funky carbuerator on an old car - as long as it eventually gets going, I don't have to buy a new one. [:D]
Maybe a 'GDIPLUS.DLL' might have to be added to the '98 download? Because if by chance someone is operating solely with a Win98 machine, they won't have anywhere to get this file.
Thank you for adding in the Win98 compatability, and the WinXP compatability. I and some others are very grateful. [&o]
Wikipedia says it isn't supported after March of 2008, so it's a security risk, and FireFox is probably the most like it.ORIGINAL: desert
I wonder, do any of you still use Netscape?

I had no clue, but it was just a suggestion. I hope I don't get in trouble for putting it on my 98 machine (sarcasm).
Not to do with .178, but with 3.4, we've noticed the PO will move units that are in garrison mode as if they are in reserve status. The what's new from 3.2 in 2007 says this was fixed. Maybe this is something from the past that has resurfaced.
Weird... I've noticed nothing wrong in my mod of Bagration To Berlin, in which I've got several Red Army formations in Garrison status, only to be activated by event.ORIGINAL: sPzAbt653

I tried to recreate this in Festung Kolberg (small enough to change stuff without too much work) in .178ORIGINAL: sPzAbt653

If I attack any of the German units (all of which are in garrison), any adjacent German unit will jump out of garrison and come to the rescue. I've done it repeatedly on both the XP and 98 machines. TPOO has recreated it in D21.
