I'd be in for the STAVKA role or another Soviet role, but preferably STAVKA.
Done. (I am assigning roles in the order that people request them).

I'll take the Baltic front if you like.
To be honest, I'm not sure that this is going to work without some help from the devs, but I'd like to have a go anyway.
I do hope the devs can improve the multiplayer aspect of the game. The most important thing would be for the game to have it's own server. That might be very expensive, I don't know.Perhaps there wouldn't be enough demand to warrant it.Does anyone know anything about that sort of thing?

I see more people have also posted in the other thread, so there are now more sign-ups than commands to take.

Since all slots are full (I didn't have time to do much searching; posting from work atm) I'm taking back my application and will be a follower of the AAR threads.

Will the AG and front leaders have an AP allowance too, or will all leader changes, corps and army OOB changes and reserve handling done by OKH/STAVKA?

House Rules discussion:
If everyone is running 1.03.4 with the reduced strategic bombing damage, then I am not sure any house rules are needed except for use of amphibious invasions and para drops?

Opsec:
I propose that no public AAR is reported until 4 turns have been completed.
Let's ask Big Anorak (STAVKA) if he has a role for you. Maybe Crimea or elsewhere after a few turns?
Yes, front and army group boundaries are going to need special attention from the CinC before the turn starts.I expect they will become targets.ORIGINAL: Encircled
Looking forward to the checkerboard meets Linebacker defence at the Front boundaries![;)]

The 8 or 9 different playstyles will also be interesting to see.
I think I'll create the Soviet thread now, although I won't post screenshots until turn 5 if that's required for some reason. I don't really see the problem with starting an AAR like normal. We should be able to trust the entire other team not to peak in the AAR that's not for their side.
