It almost sounds too good to be true, will be kinda hard for Allies to face only Franks, Jacks and George fighters in 44!
It will take some time to optimize the production line to sustain a major production of Jacks and Georges.
Already got a good amount of George and Franks in production but only 32 Jacks - but that's the inferior relative here anyway me thnks.
Yeah, the MTBs stuck on the production line has annoyed me for some time - I halt the boats when they get stuck on day 1.
So I shouldn't have any unneccessary production drains.
I asked Andy whether we could upgrade to the beta patch and he said ok and that he probably could live with it..
That's good sport even though we would have upgraded anyway when the patch goes public in x-xx days / weeks.
This turn bombers decimated a light tank regiment heading into the jungle east of Magwe.
Had planned to create a picket line as I'm kinda expecting Andy to launch a two pronged attack in this direction.
- Didn't know he had spotted us and the attacks were devastating.
Our fighters have just recently repaired damage and I set 100 fighters to CAP the tank regiment next turn.
Very possible that Andy will sweep it heavily, but his dividing his attention among multiple targets.
Nells hit a large troop ship near Luganville, looks like Andy is bringing in troops - need that to get an airfield started.
One of the biggest surprises this turn was the appearence of multiple TFs near Nuku Hiva, a CVE TF among them.
- Very likely a pending invasion.
Not much we can or want to do about that, but a limited reaction force has been alerted at Xmas Island!
No way I'm going to send KB into the vast expanses of the Central Pacific at this time: we need to protect the SRA and Burma first of all.
Actually it would be a good thing to engage Andy in a battle he thinks he can win, just like Zhukov at Stalingrad. If we feed in just enough troops
to delay and halt the Allies in Burma while building up strong reserves we may be able to lock them in another stalemate.
