Very interesting Don. I didn't know about this ship before. As said above this forum is a great place to learn stuff.
Looking at the linked page, it seems the port of entry should be Melbourne. Is this ship going into Da Babes?

Dunno Andrew. I think Babes is put to rest, so maybe not. I am working on my own scenario, an extension to "Babes" which I call "Zygotes". It runs till the end of '46.
It, and a lot of other stuff, will go in there.

For such a late war, i found some interesting informations about what the French planned to send in the Pacific by Oct/Nov 1945 to support the allied effort against Japan.
(IRL only few ships were sent to takeover Indochina, as the war ended).
BB Richelieu will stay.
2 10000t cruiser (May be Duquesne/Suffren)
3 La Galissonnière 7000t cruisers
Emile Bertin cruiser
4 Le Fantasque class
6 River class
6 US DE Class
15 light ships (i can imagine some Elan aviso class and some US PC class)
1 AR (may be Jules Verne)
3 AMC (surely Quercy/Esterel/Barfleur)
3 Liberty ships
3 Tanker (may be Var and others).

Thanks.
I think I used the French Navy site for the pictures - just cause I happened to be there...

Thanks. In an earlier post you also mentioned Bearn as an aircraft transport.
Also, I can find no data for Var. Got any?
