As you can see Fiva Robinskied. I routed everything I could reach but that was hardly anything. Starting to see the beginnings of another defence line though not much sign of forts. We converted to 1.05 at the end of my turn so his fort building won't get any easier. I'm happy advancing on Moscow at 40 miles a week with 100 miles to go with 8 more turns of clear.
I didn't see any point in hurling the armour in to gain just 1 more hex at this stage ( and that's as far as they would have got beyond the inf) especially as some had been back refitting. They would not then have had much fuel for T10. I was pleasantly suprised to see several mobile divs back at full strength the turn after I moved them back. They are more use as a threat in being ([&o] Mahan), and are now a bit closer than they were but still within 10 hexes of supply head and low fatigue so I expect them to be 40+ mobility next turn after a shuffle forward in friendly terrain. As I have posted before, Germans can benefit from a little patience.
Top left of screen you can see bottom part of an aneurism in German front lie which seems to have quite a bit of cavalry in it. I spotted it and have sealed it off on 3 sides ( including routing a couple of units at the shoulders of the bulge) so we will see what he does. Advance his squishy little horses I hope, but do not expect.
I say every turn he can't retreat 4 hexes here every turn, and maybe I will be right this turn.[&:]
I've also been able to use the last couple of turns to get the support units into the right places so I haven't been totally lazy.
